I was wondering what’s the difference between Mac OS and Mac OSX? I’m not really an Apple user, so I don’t know much about this stuff, but I am planning on buying one for Video Editing, will this OSX be useful for that task? Thanks

In all the reams of copy and info there is no mention of the price or delivery information for the softwear I want to purchase. I am looking for Tiger 10.4.
